Server Options

  • Listening IP and Port
The IP address of the interface and port number that K-Secure VPN Server shall use to accept connections from clients. Leave it at 0.0.0.0 so K-Secure VPN Server accepts connections on all network interfaces (NICs).
  • External IP and Port
The IP address and port number as seen from the perspective of a VPN client. External IP and Port can be different from the internal IP (listening IP) or Port if connections are redirected, e.g. through a firewall.
  • Host Name
(Feature Available in Professional Edition Only)
Instead of using the External IP address of the server, a fully qualified host name, e.g. my-server.my-domain.com, may be specified here. If specified, Host Name will be used when Configuration Files are exported.
